The view from our terrace to the nearby Baltic Sea creates an authentic culinary experience, which is particularly important to our chef Detlef Nützmann. He serves the best of Western Pomerania’s regional food culture with a lot of tender fish and delicious meat, supplemented by healthy fresh salads. Our chef, by the way, is a “Bernstein” original; he’s been working in the hotel from the very start!

After an adventurous day on the island of Rügen, you can reflect your experiences in our hotel’s own restaurant and bar. From our spacious restaurant and in the summer from our beautiful terrace, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the white chalk cliffs of the Jasmund peninsula.

In the light-flooded restaurant we also serve our breakfast buffet. Under the motto “Fit in den Tag” (“Fit for the day”), a wide selection of healthy foods is served, so that you can perfectly start into an eventful day. In the afternoon we invite you to coffee and cake with a view of the Baltic Sea. In the evening, our bar “Bernsteinlounge” awaits you. Here you end the day with a fresh drink and make plans for the following exciting vacation day by the Baltic Sea.
